So ... what have you been up to?

Friday, August 01, 2008

Hi, all! It's been awhile. This blog has been dormant over the past few months, and it's high time we re-engage with you. We'd like to continue to cultivate helpful and insightful dialogue that focuses on the experiences of IBOs.

Much has happened since our last post:

  • The brand advertising campaign ("Hello, my name is ...") is well into its fifth month, reaching millions of TV watchers, magazine readers, and web browsers.
  • We've launched direct-response campaigns for Nutrilite Brainiums® and Double X®.
  • Achieve® Magazine continues to break new ground in its goal to recognize IBOs at all levels. The August cover story, for instance, features new IBOs who, in their first month, chocked up retail sales.
  • The National Spotlight tour continues to criss-cross the country, showcasing our products and business opportunity, and giving IBOs a chance to show family and friends what this business is all about.
  • It's Tina! Last month, we announced that Amway Global would be a presenting sponsor of Tina Turner's concert tour, which launches Oct. 1. (How cool is that?)

All of us at the Corporation are geeked. (Can I still use "geeked"? Or has it had its 15 minutes of fame?). But what really matters is: What's it all mean to you? Are you finding that word about this business and our brands is spreading? Are you able to leverage any of the advertising to create interest among business prospects or potential customers? If you attended National Spotlight, what did you think?

Beyond all of that, what have you been up to? (I ran a 25K this spring, with a training diet that included Double X, CLA 500®, Glucosamine®, CF&V®, Energy Bars, Sports Drinks, and Protein Snack Bars.) Do you have an inspiring story you'd like to share? What about a particular success (big or small) you're proud of? How's the retailing coming?

We look forward to hearing from you!

Since Quixtar began advertising Nutrilite Braniums DHA, I've been promoting it to friends and family alike!  I haven't had a customer of this product just yet, but expect to keep engaging those who can appreciate this product's benefits!

I think the advertising that Amway Global has been doing is fantastic. Especially in the customer side of things. Multiple customers have told me they saw the ad on TV which opened the door for more discussion about the entire campaign. In one instance, a customer asked about promoting the product herself. I'm really excited where things are going. Thanks Amway Global for all you're doing. Keep up the great work!

Nick,

It's been awesome to see the changes that have been going on with the corporation. I've been involved with Amway Global for over a decade and the changes that are going on right now truly makes it a Transformation.

The ads have been great for prospecting new IBO's as well as giving a sense of pride to IBO's that haven't been very active.

On the retailing front, I've increased my average retail pv/month from 300-400 to 500-600 and more! Perfect Water, competitive pricing from Nutrilite, Simply Nutrilite, Artistry Essentials, XS drinks, improvements in Ribbon, and we still have the best home and laundry care products have all contributed to a very healthy First Circle! With free shipping and ditto delivery, I think it's very reasonable for an active IBO to create a 1000pv First Circle.

The courses at QU have also been very good and not only help with retailing, but you can also apply many of the same principles to prospecting and invites.

Looking forward to the future with great anticipation!

I have been hearing so many positive reports on the Ad launch!  It is great to be recognized as a "Legit" business because the TV says so.  In this TV society, it is a very good way to have the visual and branding going out more and more.  I know of several people who have a growing businesses because of the Name Recognition.  Great job Quixtar/Amway-Global! You do an awesome job!

Well we have had a busy summer. We went to Italy for 3 weeks with several of our Diamond friends and a few new new Corporation friends. Of course we had to stash some of our Perfect Water in our suitcases. It opened up lots of great contacts and conversations. I took a few XS but ran out WAY to quick. I LOVE LEMON BLAST XS. We started in Rome for a few days then boarded a cruise liner and cruised Italy, Monte Carlo, Turkey (Great Shopping, girls), and Greece then stayed in Venice for a few days. We came home for a few weeks then went to our "Family Reunion Function" in Portland and Sun River, Oregon. Went home for a few weeks then went to Maui and just got home. My daughter registered a new Client who is interested in the Nutrilite Protein Drinks and Perfect Water. Our travels are done for a few weeks then we're going to Cour De' Lane Id to be with a bunch of winners in the Amway Global Bus. It is Great to be FREE!!!!!

I am a believer in Nutrilite Brainiums DHA/ Nutrilite Ocean Essentials Brain Health for those who are a little older.  My daughter sometimes has difficulty focusing in her school work.  When we add Brainiums or Brain Health there is a definite difference.  With school starting up again soon, and with so many children diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, this is a great natural answer for many.  Let's get the word out personally, as the company has already made it easier with the advertising.  We have the answer that people want.

Editor's note: Hi, seagull2. Thanks for the testimonial. I just wanted to clarify that we can't make claims about ADD or ADHD. What we can say is that studies have shown that adequate DHA (there's DHA in both products) helps support optimal memory, learning, and concentration.

Regards,

Nick
